No Wedding? Starmagazine.com had sources saying that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie tied the knot on Saturday in New Orleans. Not very good sources. People.com quoted a source close to the power couple declaring they did not get married, and were not even in New Orleans.

People’s source says they have been in Texas, where Pitt is making a movie. Usmagazine.com was even more emphatic, with its source equating the wedding news with bull droppings. Us noted that Pitt has said in the past that he and Jolie will not wed until gay marriage is legal.

So was the Star off base? Seems so. On Sunday it posted: ”After further investigation, the sources are not standing by their story.” More Angelina. Married or not, Jolie is one of the great beauties. But not the best fashion role model, Patrick Huguenin says in the New York Daily News.

”What makes a star a style icon is the ability to inspire fashion flair in regular women,” Huguenin wrote. ”Audrey Hepburn turned the world on to flattering black cigarette pants, while Beyonce has shown women how to flaunt their best assets in bum-hugging dresses. But no girl in her right mind should follow in the fashion footsteps of Jolie.

Either dressed in corporate-casual slacks and clashing blacks, or draped in fabrics more popular in Boca Raton than Hollywood, Jolie is a diagram of what not to wear for the normal woman. Her dowdy duds would make average people look shorter, fatter or sloppier than they actually are.”

But for Jolie, it doesn’t matter. ”She always looks kind of disheveled, but her beauty balances it out,” one style expert told Huguenin.
